It was incorporated in November 1998 under section 32 of the companies ordinance 1984 and successfully commenced its operations from October 1999. Initial feasibility studies showed that available local production of aluminum bottle caps in Pakistan at that time was inadequate and of low quality while the consumer clients were eager to obtain quality production within Pakistan. NMPL was proactive in meeting these requirements and consequently went into business with major reputable food and pharmaceutical companies, both local and multinational.
